Terms of Use
Last updated · April 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the TrustScans website and application. By using TrustScans you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Beta status
TrustScans is currently in beta. That means features, pricing, and availability may change without notice, and the service is offered “as is” while we continue to refine it based on customer feedback.
Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us as soon as possible if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.
Acceptable use
You agree to use TrustScans only for lawful purposes and only on websites you own or have permission to scan. You will not use the service to attempt to circumvent security measures on any system or to interfere with the service itself.
Your content
You retain all rights to the URLs you submit and the websites we scan on your behalf. You grant TrustScans a limited license to access and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
No legal advice
TrustScans produces technical evidence about web accessibility. It is not a law firm and nothing in our reports, site, or communications is legal advice. Consult qualified counsel about accessibility compliance in your jurisdiction.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep TrustScans reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability during beta. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustScans is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
